This publication presents articles written by prominent feminists, women´s human rights activists, academics and representatives from civil society in Latin American (LA) and the European Union (EU). The articles cover the following main topics: (i) the mass demonstrations against gender violence which have taken place in LA and, on a smaller scale, in the EU; (ii) the joint call to establish a ‘feminicide watch’ observatory by the Special Rapporteur on violence against women, its causes and consequences; (iii) finally, the changes that have occurred in relation to the voluntary interruption of pregnancy in countries from LA and EU.
