Life Foundation for development and community integration participated at Alexandria Short Film festival by providing a special award entitled ‘’A Step of Hope’’, a golden award to highlight the challenge of change, rehabilitation and integration of marginalised groups. “A Step of hope” was awarded to one of the participating films which sheds light on the socially marginalized women and their capacity to challenge social stigma.
The jury of the award was composed of Nermeen Elbahtiti- executive director of Life Foundation, Nivin Shalaby-Director, Ghada Abdel-Aal-writer and scenarist, Ahmad Jaber – director and theatre actor, Tamer El rawi – Legal consultant at Life Foundation.
