This animated video was launched by UN Women Jordan, during the "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence" campaign. The video revises the negative connotations associated with the CEDAW Convention among the general public in Jordan – while highlighting the positive effects of its implementation in the society. The animated video is the result of joint advocacy efforts under the dedicated joint programme on CEDAW - implemented by UN Women, UNICEF and UNFPA (the United Nations Population Fund ) in collaboration with JNCW (Jordanian National Commission for Women).
