MARCH took part in the Women’s Race on May 4th 2014 in more ways than one; fighting against domestic violence, the team ran carrying signs and wearing T-shirts with the slogan “We’re Unbeatable”. However, the most interesting part of the day was the stunt that went viral, as part of the “I am unbeatable campaign”. In collaboration with M&C Saatchi, MARCH created a stunt during the event, where a man was seen mistreating his wife in the middle of the marathon. The performance was filmed and posted on YouTube in order to keep the focus on the issue of domestic violence, and keep on fighting for an improved law and for women’ s rights.
The main goal was toremind peoplethat despitethe new law, many women are stillvictims of domestic violenceand the authoritiesdo not ensure the implementationof the law.
