International Consortium for Gender Equality on Campus

28.01.2022 / Created by Lamia BENHABIB

The International Consortium for Gender Equality on Campus was created by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) as part of the “Gender” component of its ACTIF program. This Consortium brings together 11 French-speaking establishments from various regions of the world ready to commit and work together to promote gender equality at several levels (students, teacher-researchers, governments). The Consortium’s work started on June 29, 2021, the official launch date, and will continue until September 2022. As part of this action, co-constructed with the support of UN Women (HeForShe and WEPs), it will act to equip each member institution to enable it to raise awareness, engage and act concretely in order to achieve visible and measurable changes on its campus concerning gender equality.
