The Covid-19 crisis has revealed the condition of women and their rights. While they make up the overwhelming majority of workers that have accepted the daily survival of the country for a year, their demands have been ignored and their rights receded. Restrictions connected to the health crisis have increased violence against women. The economic precariousness of women is exploding in an invisible and silent way. In terms of public and media visibility, their word seems to have been confiscated more than ever. International reports worry: according to UN Women, the pandemic could wipe out 25 years of progress on equality between women and men.
This podcast seeks to document in 9 episodes what is happening to women nowadays. It seeks to unfold and take a good look at what the Covid reveals, crystallizes, reinforces, roles that are structurally assigned to women, who have been at the same time the most active, the most evaluated, and the most ignored, since a year. It seeks to draw feminist lessons from this crisis to draw the contours of an economically and socially fairer world.
