Jeem is a website tackling issues related to gender, sex and sexuality and addressing young Arabic speaking young men and women in the Middle East and North Africa and around the world who seek information on these topics and their intersections with different aspects of life.
The site is a project of the Goethe-Institut Deutschland, offering a range of written, visual and audio content, as well as a platform that enables the public to create a frank discussion about the cultural and social aspects of sexuality.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
