The directory aims to provide a database of institutions that provide health and social service as well as protection for abused women who have been or may be subjected to violence in all Palestinian governorates. It also seeks to assist legal, social and health institutions and providers to refer cases that reach them, as well as to develop partnership, and foster communication and networking among the institutions that provide services to women victims of violence.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
