P&D Factor - Associação para a Cooperação sobre População e Desenvolvimento (Association for Cooperation on Population and Development) is a non-profit association created on 23 November 2012 and formally recognized in January 2013 in Portugal.
Its purpose is to promote and protect Development in accordance with the Human Rights of each and every person, based on non-discrimination and promotion of equality centered on scientific, educational, social and philanthropic principles.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
