The Research Institute on Contemporary Maghreb is a research institution that articulates French and European research on one side and Maghreb research on the other.
For the conduct of its programs, the Institute has a research library in humanities and social sciences. It has a historical heritage of the resources of the Tunisia-Maghreb Documentation Center (1980-1991). Since the creation of the IRMC in 1992, the library has been enriched by a consequent purchase policy and donations from academic institutions, Maghreb and European research facilities and individuals. At present, the library has 30,000 books and pamphlets.
