The Labor, Gender and Society Magazine aims to ask the question of gender equality in the social sciences of Labor and to reflect on the work in the field of gender research, to decipher, starting from hierarchies, divisions and segmentations which traverse the world of Labor, the status of men and women in society, and thus to ask the question of gender equality.
This journal is multidisciplinary, international and open to the different currents that cross these fields of research. In this sense, Labor, Gender and Society is not a typical magazine, but that of a field of research. Like the International and Multidisciplinary Research Network "Labor Market and Gender" (Mage), the magazine is there to confront researchers who have different, or even opposite, positions and theoretical options.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
