Created in 1994, the Moroccan Association Solidarity Across Borders (AMSSF) was initially intended to help poor women through vocational training and literacy programs.
Since the publication in February 1999 of Law 18-97, the association specializes in microfinance to support the actions of women that the association forms, and who are excluded from the traditional financial system. The AMSSF thus then became the Moroccan Association Solidarity Across Borders / Microfinance (AMSSF / MC).
