The Centre for Gender Equality Information is a finnish national information service that operates under the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).
This center provides updated, research-based information related to gender equality and gender studies. It supports decision-making, the promotion of gender equality policies and the implementation of citizens’ -and especially women’s- rights.
Some of their current projects involve the promotion of equal pay between men and women ("Equal Pay Programme"), legal accompaniment regarding pregnancy discrimination in the workplace ("Pregnancy discrimination campaign") and the reconciliation of work and family life ("Work and family-life programme").

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
