The purpose of this non-profit organization is to provide women, their children and young girls effective protection against gender-based violence (GBV) through the development and management of shelters for women and girls in distress, as well as information and consultation centers.
It contributes to improving the living conditions of women, helping them to integrate into economic and social life, by guaranteeing them psychological, legal and social assistance, and by offering them specific training to regain control over their lives.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
