The European Blind Union (EBU) works towards an accessible and inclusive society with equal opportunities for blind and partially sighted people to fully participate in all aspects of social, economic, cultural and political life.
It has produced a short video portraying the stories of ten women who are blind or partially sighted and traces the paths they followed towards pursuing their dreams. There is also a transcript of the video content, this is also available in French (word files).

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
