Fundamental liberties are guaranteed in the Principality of Monaco by the Constitution and they do not entail any gender-based discrimination. The Ministry of State is the body responsible for defending these fundamental liberties and it actively works to ease women’ s access to employment by favouring the participation of Monegasque women as well as foreign residents or transnational workers in the economic life of the Principality of Monaco.
