Department for Equal Opportunities, Anti-Discrimination and Social Assistance Benefits of Bulgaria develops and coordinates the implementation of the state policy in the field of demographic evolution, social investment and equal opportunities. It participates in the preparation of monitoring and research methods on demographic processes and equality. Its missions are to analyse and assess the compliance of national legislation with the European commitments in the field of equal opportunities, draft regulatory texts and develop the budget corresponding to the Ministry’ s programme in this field.
