The Gender Center of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the body responsible for the protection of women’ s rights and gender equality in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the objective of promoting the participation of women in all spheres of social life. It monitors the status of women and the exercising of their rights guaranteed by national and international legislation, coordinates its work with Gender Equality Commissions of both Houses of Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and cooperates with the Gender Equality Agency of the country.
