* Article 6: The overall interests' goals of the Euro-Mediterranean Women's Foundation are part of the objectives of the project entitled «Developing women's empowermnent», that was labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean in December 2011. The aim of this project is to build equality between women and men by acting to achieve empowerment, autonomy and strength of women's roles and functions in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
