Adéquations association was created in 2003 and it is based in Paris. They work on the following issues: sustainable development and ecological transition; equality and gender approach as well as human rights and international solidarity. Adéquations works through providing information, gender trainings, advocacy and different projects with associations, authorities, public institutions and authorities.
Adéquations runs an online resource center at : adequations.org.
The association creates educational tools, methodologies and decision support, particularly on the following issues: gender and development, equality at work and non-sexist education. Adéquations is a member of the “Plateforme Genre et Développement” of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the “Commission genre de Coordination Sud” and other actors and campaigns for promoting equality and women's rights.
Adéquations association has between 5 and 10 years of specific working experience on gender equality.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
