Mission and objectives

The "Association Marocaine des Femmes Progressistes" (AMFP) was founded in 1992 to fight against the repression endured by Moroccan women at all levels: socioeconomic, political, legal, cultural and in the media. AMFP takes as a reference the international conventions on human rights.

Its objective is the effective establishment of gender equality; the fight for the ratification without reservations of the international conventions; the broadening of women' s awareness of their rights and the conservation of achievements; cooperation with other associations and democratic actors for a progressive women' s influence; and support for all fair and legitimate fights.
