International therapeutic attorneys Centre (ICAR) is a civil institution, that seeks to defend public and community issues especially the rights of marginalized group (women and children) and seeks to achieve a fair environment that ensures equal opportunities for women and fights all forms of discrimination against them, and to enhance their presence in all aspects of life. Also we work toward the integration of women in the development process through various activities. The centre has a special unit in collaboration with Women' s National Council that raises the issues of abused women and women deprived from their rights.
The centre works to find innovative ways to influence the decision-makers in the country to implement the recommendations formulated to Egypt and the implementation of The Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW)
