Lebanon
The Global Forum for Religions and Humanity (GFRH) is a non-governmental organization based in Lebanon. It is dedicated to promoting the culture of pluralism and diversity and it acts as a platform for dialogue and permanent exchange among peers on subjects related to inter-religious dialogue, women empowerment and cultural exchange.
With more than 125 members and volunteers from various nationalities, religious, cultural, and social backgrounds, GFRH works towards achieving its mission through capacity development and advocacy.
Women empowerment and women participation to decision-making are key areas of actions since GFRH inception in 2011, undertaken in collaboration with various sister organizations and the support of national and international partners.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
