Al Hasnaa was established in 1909 as a regional magazine covering women' s issues in the Arab world. Al Hasnaa has been accompanying the Arab Woman in her march and has been covering her evolution, highlighting in its pages issues about various facets and aspects of her life and identity. In line with its scope and mission, Al Hasnaa initiated in 2007 a regional Forum referred to as the New Arab Woman Forum (NAWF Women Entrepreneurs). This Forum has established itself as a pioneering, widely attended annual event in the region. It acts as an objective and free platform aimed at discussing and highlighting issues pertaining to Arab women among top leaders and business professionals. NAWF Women Entrepreneurs is an opportunity to raise awareness on key women issues and highlighting potential means for progress and development. Since its initiation, NAWF has been a huge success and has attracted a large number of very influential personalities from the region and at the global level.
