Al-Thoria Center is a Non-Governmental and Non-Profit organization based in Amman and it established since 2006. Al-Thoria Center is a scientific independent Jordanian institution that works towards the achievement of a political, social, economic and environmental development within the framework of sustainable development, from a perspective that depends on scientific research, consultation, building capacities of institutions and individuals, preparing studies and surveys that are related to sustainable development, holding meetings, conferences and seminars and making partnerships with institutions, governmental, international and local bodies, training and exchange of experiences.
The vision of the Centre is to be a civil society institution that is able to support the overall reform process in accordance with a participatory methodology based on scientific research and to empower individuals and institutions, based on the principles of participation, justice, equality, transparency, and equal opportunities. The Centre is concerned with women issues and it had carried out many projects targeted women in different regions in Jordan.
