Palestinian Authority
Established in 1996, Juzoor for Health and Social Development (Juzoor) is a leading NGO dedicated to improving the well-being of Palestinian families and to promoting human rights, including health rights. Through cooperation with community-based organizations, professionals, governmental bodies and donors, Juzoor aims to address psychosocial, educational, economic, food, and health needs of vulnerable groups through innovative programs that build local capacity and empower women, youth, and children.
Juzoor has demonstrated its commitment to and aptitude in women' s empowerment and rights promotion in Palestinian society through a wide array of projects focused on women' s health, gender-based violence and sexual and reproductive health rights, including awareness campaigns, women' s health services and advocacy for related policies at the national level.
