Mission and objectives

The "Genre Culture Diversité et Développement" (GCDD) is a meeting and an exchange place between different people from Mauritania. However, GCDD is also seen as a way to open to the world. They defend the empowerment of women by establishing multiple income activities. This women autonomy can only be achieved by adopting a policy of literacy and mentoring vulnerable groups since women are the major affected group.

The position of Mauritania as a buffer zone between North Africa and Black Africa gives the territory a special richness to ethnic, linguistic and especially cultural sphere.
