The « Association Femme et Citoyenneté » believes that the reconstruction of Tunisia and the establishment of genuine democracy cannot be achieved without women's voice. The Association is committed to women's rights, their freedom and their dignity. They work for an egalitarian society, for the recognition of full citizenship for women and their free choice in decisions that affect them.
This Association, open to diversity, has a social mission, mainly based on human rights and they work for:
- Fighting against women's poverty, discrimination and violence.
- Promoting gender equality and parity by conducting actions for the defense and promotion of women's rights in the economic, social, cultural and political life.
- Promoting respect and citizenship.
