Madam Intissar Bendjabellah prepares a thesis on literature, entitled "Female body and its representation in the Algerian novel". Her hypothesis is that the female body in the Algerian novel is a feminist and existentialist cause.
Madam Intissar Bendjabellah analyses assaulted body, the rape issue, the case of the wedding night, virginity, the veil, abortion and assaults against women of all kinds.
She wants to prove that Assia Djebar (Algerian novelist) fights for women to regain their rights over their bodies, Rachid Boujedera (Algerian novelist and poet) demonstrates that female body is an existential problem. Moreover, Madam Bendjabellah analyses in her thesis the fact how Wahiba Khiari (Algerian novelist) listens to the body which screams in pain.
