Tunisia
The Tunisian Mediterranean Center (TU-MED Center) is a non-profit association created on January 17, 2012 and in accordance with Decree-Law No. 88-2011 of September 29, 2011 related to Tunisian associations. The headquarters of the Center is located at Alain Savary, Tunis. The aim of the TU-MED Center is to strengthen the capacity of local associations to participate in public life and decision-making. This strengthening of associations aims to contribute to the success of their missions, to develop their actions and to facilitate their access to modern organizational and management techniques so that they participate effectively in public life.
- Awareness campaigns targeting marginalized groups on the importance of the exercise of the right to vote.
- The project "Women Ambassadors for civic education of illiterate women living in rural areas"
- Dialogues with rural women to formulate recommendations for submission to the National Constituent Assembly.
- Monitor the various elections that took place in Tunisia after the revolution, taking into account the gender approach.
