Palestinian Authority
An independent, non-partisan Palestinian NGO that seeks to build a fully participatory Palestinian society and develop women's managerial, technical and professional skills through self-reliance training. It aspires to a nation in which the values of individual and collective rights are respected and pluralism is preserved, in the light of the state and the rule of law. The organization adopts a strategy to support marginalized groups, particularly young people and women in hard-to-reach communities, through the creation of safe platforms and a civil society led development process, as well as creating a system that meets the needs of women and children up to 16 years of age.
The Center takes a holistic approach that combines social, cultural and social development by reaching the grassroots level, empowering women and youth, and encouraging community entrepreneurship. This approach is part of a strategy to achieve sustainable and renewed change by promoting community cohesion and increasing the participation of youth and women in public life and in a more responsive governance system. The Foundation engages the target groups in the process of self-analysis of Palestinian cultural values and the historical development of Palestinian society.
