Womenpreneur Initiative aims to create a shift within MENA societies in general, but also in the entrepreneurial tech landscape. By connecting female talents, offering an inspiring platform, organizing revolutionary discussions, and providing impactful solutions on challenges women and especially women entrepreneurs face, we aim to accelerate the development of women, communities and the entrepreneurial system. We increase awareness about the status quo of women and reconstruct foundational beliefs and ideas on gender issues in order to close the gender gap, particularly in innovation and technology.
In short, our goal is the advancement of women and the creation of a lasting change within society and the entrepreneurial tech landscape.
- Womenpreneur Tour: a joint initiative of SANAD’s Entrepreneurship Academy and Womenpreneur, mapping female entrepreneurs in technology, digital and innovation. We travel through different MENA countries for two months in order to understand and analyze the challenges they face in their country's ecosystem. During our trips, we interview female talents and entrepreneurs in the tech sector. The insights gained are also the basis for a policy paper that draws attention to the main challenges female entrepreneurs face and offers impactful solutions.
- Womenpreneur Experience: an event, taking place at the end of the journey in each Womenpreneur Tour's country, providing inspirational talks with leaders in tech entrepreneurship as well as networking opportunities.
- Womenpreneur Forum: a joint effort of APEFE and Womenpreneur, aiming to educate, connect and celebrate women in the MENA region and the global diaspora.
We also offer various forums, panel discussions, networking events and more.
