To serve as a direct resource for those who are being abused or feel threatened, providing counseling, intervention, and connections to other services; to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services for victims of violence.
To educate the general public, particularly guardians and those who work with children, about child abuse – including physical, verbal, and non-verbal forms and the wide-ranging physical, mental, and emotional consequences – as well as about international laws surrounding child abuse.
Wojoud for Empowering Civil Society
Vision: Wojoud envisions a society in which women, children, and vulnerable sections of society are empowered and afforded all of the resources and opportunities they need in order to be physically and mentally healthy and to be economically productive members of society.
Mission: To improve the opportunities and overall wellbeing of women, children, and other under-privileged, marginalized populations in Jordan by increasing society’s awareness of their needs and engaging society in the defense and promotion of their rights.
