Mission and objectives

Empowerment and integration of women, children, street children, youth and other marginalized groups in life activities through the implementation of legal and educational activities and programs in partnership with various civil society groups to build their capacities and activate their participation with the different components of the society. Activating the declaration of the rights if the child. Analysing personal status laws and tackle their weaknesses. Provision of legal assistance to all citizens whose rights are violated. Conduct studies on laws related to women and their rights.

Main activities related to gender equality and women's rights

Building youth capacity. Recognition of international human rights instruments, especially CEDAW. Trainings on gender and equality. Empower female workers by raising their awareness regarding their rights and duties, and gender equality as stipulated by the constitution. Promote the culture of civic education and community participation. Working to raise awareness among women about the importance of their presence in local and parliamentary councils in order to make their voices heard by decision makers. Pressure for political and economic gains. Pursuing women's issues on the state agenda, especially issues such as domestic violence and community violence, and lobbying through female parliamentarians to adopt women's issues in relation to personal status and violence.
