As a researcher, Mr. Sami ZOUARI got his MA in development economics from the University Montesquieu of Bordeaux 4 in France. He written papers on female labour force participation, gender wage gap, youth employment, return to education, gender and migration, etc. He conducted field works dealing with gender equality being involved in many works with CAWTAR, WB, UNDP, ETF, AfDB, etc. and contributed to establishing reports and statistics dealing with gender equality in the MENA region.

Mr. Sami ZOUARI is an experienced researcher and consultant counting more with more than 12 years of experience in the field of gender and labour market analysis in the MENA region. In his work he has used advanced methods of estimations based on individual datasets, desk review, qualitative analysis and fields work proving good knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data collection. Mr. Zouari is very experienced in conducting surveys especially in terms of sex disaggregated data, he has also participated in a survey to collect and analyse data about Tunisian women working in the public sector.
