Mission and objectives

The "Associació Catalana de Dones Directives i Empresaries" is an association committed to society and serving individuals, organisations and institutions. They offer spaces for dialogue, reflection and analysis, and develop proposals to improve equality between men and women.

The Association promotes the empowerment of women in all sorts of initiatives to strengthen its presence in the business, civil and social world, both national and internationally, enhancing its presence and leadership in all sectors of society.

Main activities related to gender equality and women's rights

"Dones pel Futur" launches a new methodology based on solidarity and trust in people. Their actions are aimed at promoting self-employment in the areas of social vulnerability and exclusion for women.
They identify society's current needs and find social partners, through real constructive dialogues. They generate changes and promote reforms.
The Association encourages reflection and analysis, revolving around the social model of the country and the major issues affecting it.
As an exchange space for business, experiences and collaboration between associates, the Association has experts in different economic, business and social spheres. Furthermore, they encourage the participation of women in networks, nationally and internationally as well as gives support to micro-credit programs.
