The Portuguese Association of Women in Legal Careers is a non–governmental organization of Women Jurists established in 1988 with the purpose to contribute to a critical study of the Law under the perspective of Women’s Human Rights.
Since its establishment, this Association has been playing in Portugal an important and active role in all the necessary changes of the Law in order to achieve the eradication of the inequalities that affect women.
