Gender entrepreneurship has gained in popularity over the last 20 years. It is considered a driving force behind developing economies. The Middle East, known as the Sleeping Giant has created a great deal of global interest. With Lebanon, being situated at the door of the Middle East, and after surviving a civil war, Entrepreneurship has a great impact on its economy. Even though female entrepreneurship has become a current business trend, very little research has focused on the impact of gender on innovation and performance. Research in the areas of decision making, underlying factors that motivate women in the Middle East, patriarchal societies and Lebanese factors that are involved
