Mission and objectives

The Moroccan Association of Social Workers strives to place social service as the basis for any desired development of women's issues. The Association aims to:
- Develop the professional practice of social service at the national and Maghreb level
- Promote the culture of women's rights
- Develop programs targeting vulnerable women

Main activities related to gender equality and women's rights

- Training and workshops
- Provision of psychological, social and economic support
- Developing listening centers for women victims of violence
- Supporting associations working with women in difficult situations
- Developing programs to enhance and encourage education, especially for girls in rural areas
- Supporting activities directed to girls' reception centers
- Development of equality programs for youth
- Enhancing women's participation in the management of pilot programs and projects
- Strengthening the capacities of female actors and leaders in civil and political work
- Develop practices that promote respect for women's rights
