Mission and objectives

Mothers School Society is a Palestinian women independent charity society that seeks to upgrade the role and the location of Palestinian woman within the family and society, through empowering them in the fields of education, culture, economic, human rights and health.
The goals of the Mothers' School Society are: 1. Raising education capacity for mothers and young housewives; 2. Reduction of psychological, social and health problems of women; 3. Developing women’s community participation in the political and social areas; 4. Economic empowerment of poor families headed by women and 5. Upgrading the capacity building of the society.

Main activities related to gender equality and women's rights

- Building alliances with 28 civil society and training institutions on decent work, conflict resolution and gender equality.
- Forming mediation units to monitor women’s violations working in the private sector.
- Providing brochures to educate women about labour rights.
