Mission and objectives

The League of Female Officials of the National Union of Tunisian Women is an association affiliated to the Union dealing with the affairs and concerns of women executives in the public service and the private sector. The league aims to develop women's skills, improve their performance and status, as well as defend their rights and advocate for gender equality in the area of governance. The league also works to ensure that women reach high positions in the Tunisian administration and have access to decision-making positions.

Main activities related to gender equality and women's rights

To achieve its goals and develop the leadership skills of female executives, the League organizes meetings and seminars, bringing together national and international experts.
It also organizes training sessions on good governance for its members, and concludes bilateral agreements with relevant institutions for the training of state officials at the national and international levels, as well as cooperation agreements with national organizations, NGOs, and the different components of civil society in areas relevant to the association’s action and mission.
