research interest is applied micro-econometrics, on gender and labor issues in Egypt and developing countries in general. She has published her research articles in different international peer-reviewed journals, including Middle East Development Journal, International Journal of Development Issues, International Journal of Economics and Business, Indian Journal of Labor Economics, European Journal of Economics, Finance and Administrative Science, and Review of Economics and Political Science.
