The African Women's Forum is a pan-African association based in Rabat, Morocco with branches in several countries: Tunisia, Gambia, and Ghana. Its main purpose is to strengthen the participation of women in the strategic decisions of our societies. AWF also aims to strengthen the situation of women through an exchange of experiences in women's rights between states. AWF also aims to reinforce a better knowledge of countries through culture, especially between the countries of the Maghreb and the other countries of Sub-Saharan Africa but also from the Mediterranean.
Organization of international forums on fundamental issues for women: empowerment, leadership, security; Advocacy in international fora like UN, parliaments, human rights council on the situation of women; Establishment of a pan-African women's network to form a strong and unified continental movement in order to be a partner for other actors in international cooperation: EU / AU / UN
