6. Reinforcing children’s abilities and broadening their knowledge.
The Mother School Society was set up in 1999 in response to the needs of women and homemakers in the areas of Nablus that were experiencing greatest need due to the negative repercussions of occupation policies and were most affected by the economic and social deterioration of Palestinian society. Because of the high importance of education for the Palestinian people, the main focus of women’s and homemakers’ concerns was the education of their children.
