Future Association for Development - Batna is a social foundation established on 2009. It operates in Batna Province with a focus on youth, childhood, working women, and housewives in order to achieve social solidarity integration and economic empowerment of women, reinforce citizenship and youth participation in local administration, and provide formation, mentoring, pleading, and advocacy support.
Objectives:
Support and implementation of future social solidarity, implementation of professional formation, promote startups, and mentor the youth. Labor promotion and unemployment programs. Rebuilding the social fabric, and creating ties of solidarity and cooperation among the members of society. Raising awareness on rural women within the context of national solidarity and rural renewal.
- PAD sel-NEA project for startup establishment and operation (2009). The project aims to establish small enterprises through microfinance following professional formation and apprenticeship.
- GEPE, a Maghrebi project for diversified economies for women, with CIDDEF (2011). The project aims to reinforce women’s abilities and economically empower them to achieve social integration.
- Tailoring workshop for the women’s branch of the Association: mentoring and training stay-at-home women in order to promote social solidarity economy for productive households (2013).
- Coordination with ADS’ neighboring cells for the organization of field visits aimed to examine the reality of local development in our province.
