Mission and objectives

Jordanian Journalist Association aims to promote the role of media in the defense of women's right and to highlight issues related to social, economic and political empowerment of women, using media to monitor the abuses they suffer. It also works towards improving women's image and social roles in media, contributing to raise the awareness of women on the importance of their social, political and economic participation, and about their rights and the issues of the society they live in.
The association works on a national level, its main priorities are political life, civil rights, education, professional training and prevention of violence. It has between 2-5 years of working experience in the field of gender equality.
