Women's Security Index (WSI) is a coalition of Jewish and Palestinian feminist organizations, which promotes the security of women in Israel. WSI challenges the militaristic view of security by offering a broad and positive feminist vision of human safety, such as economic security and protection from discrimination, domestic and sexual violence.
WSI conducts yearly surveys, based on a unique methodology for mapping women's experiences regarding their safety and security. The data and the analysis is supplied to NGOs and decision makers to serve as an important tool for in advocating for protection and security of women.
WSI has between 5 and 10 years of working experience in gender equality. Their main target are immigrant and refugee women as well as victims of violence.
