The European Union in Morocco is launching a restricted call for proposals with a budget of 3.8 million euros as part of the Moussawat program to support the implementation of the Government Plan for Equality II.
The deadline for submitting concept notes is 19 May 2021 at 12:00 (Brussels time).
An information session will be organized by videoconference on April 15, 2021, at 3.30 p.m. (Brussels time).
The general objective:
Promote gender equality by improving women’s perceptions and economic participation, responding to the priorities defined in Axis 1: “Strengthening the employability and economic empowerment of women”, and Axis 5: "Dissemination of the culture of equality and fight against discrimination and stereotypes based on gender" of the Government Plan for Equality II. The general objective falls within the specific context of the COVID 19 crisis having a social and economic impact on populations in fragile situations and on women.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
