The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) is seeking submissions for a collection of narratives “Transformative Stories, Transforming Lives”, about inspirational females from Europe and Central Asia
Directed at young readers, these narratives - historical or fictional - will be part of a collection providing inspirational accomplishments of women and girls, and their positive contributions to their communities and society.
UN Women invites and encourages a wide range of contributors - authors, teachers, historians, journalists, young children, members from civil society organizations and youth groups, parents - anyone with a story to tell of women and girls who have made a meaningful impact in promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment.
Submissions must be delivered to the UN Women Regional Office in Europe and Central Asia via ECA.programme@unwomen.org no later than 15 August 2019 midnight Turkey local time.
