How can policies and programmes be inclusive and more specifically, gender sensitive? How do values of inclusiveness and gender equality result in better performance and greater benefits for your organization or community?
Designed for both men and women, this course by The Hague Academy for Local Governance will discuss approaches for promoting gender in inclusive governance processes and gender-sensitive strategies and tools for mainstreaming gender in policies and projects.
The course is intended for those working with policymakers at the local and national level, decision-makers, international development practitioners, gender specialists within government, NGO’s and the UN system, HR officers and other persons who are interested in promoting inclusive development with a special focus on strengthening the position of women and marginalized groups.
The course fee is € 3.150 and will take place in The Hague from 18 to 29 November 2019. Applications are due on 4 October 2019.
